We want to hear you play, and it can pay! Fender Musical Instruments is sponsoring 10 scholarships for promising musicians in the following categories:
Rock (4), Jazz Guitar (2), Fingerstyle Guitar (2), Electric Bass (2), (1) Classical Guitar

Please limit tape or CD length to 8 minutes. All tapes or CDs submitted are non-returnable-DO NOT submit masters. Applicants wishing to be considered in more than one category must submit a separate tape for each class. Performances will be judged on composition, creativity, originality and use of various musical idioms. The scholarship deadline for receipt of tape entries must be postmarked by July 11, 2008. All applicants will be contacted soon afterwards. DO NOT register for Guitar Workshop if you are sending in tape for scholarship we will wave the late fee for those who do not win and you may register Monday morning July 21, 2008. Room & board NOT included in scholarship
