Programs:

The programs in the Guitar Department at Duquesne University have expanded greatly since the beginning. Guitar majors can study performance, music technology, sound recording, electronic performance, music education and music therapy. For non-traditional students, the department also offers private lessons. Each student will learn a great deal about guitar theory, technique, and performance allowing them to become a strong presence in the musical world. This section will help provide a brief overview of the various programs the Guitar Department has to offer.
