      For over 25 years the Guitar Department at Duquesne University has been transforming artistic potential into realized accomplishment. Our comprehensive program of studies in musicianship, mastery of improvisation, performance art and music technology provides tools for a career in today's competitive music world while never neglecting the excitement of creating music. In addition to its degree programs, the school also offers Summer Workshops which incorporate guitar and electric bass performance, national recording artists, performance development, recording and much more.
